It seems everywhere we turn, we end up seeing green.
It's time to find out which of the 5A Girls programs is fielding the best young team. The idea here is to team score the 5A Girls rankings by freshmen and sophomores only. In this way, we get a good look at the teams that may not necessarily be at the top right now but could be a year or two down the road if things continue to develop.
And, well, guess what? Mountain Vista has this game under control, too. Three of the top five freshmen, by current rankings, in 5A Girls wear the green of Vista Nation. In fact, the current heart of the Mountain Vista roster seems to be mostly freshmen and sophomores.
But, that's not all we came here to look for. We also see here that Cherry Creek's and Fairview's younger ranks hold a lot of promise down the road. So, take a look at what you see below and cast a wayward thought or two in the direction of the future. It will be here soon enough.
