Time for the weekly routine of taking a circle around the region to see how the top teams in the region did. This ends up as a fairly short tour this time around as more and more teams seem to be taking more guarded approaches to the number of competitions they engage in in a season these days. But, we'll share what we have.
Nevada
For the first time in a while, we have some Nevada results to share.
Northern 4A League Championship
This meet takes in the entirety of the large schools in the Reno/Carson City area. That, in turn, is about half of the large schools in Nevada. Reno's boys and Spanish Springs' girls easily handled the High Desert division. Although it's been a while since we've seen Nevada results, both of those outcomes seem to have fallen as expected. Times appear to be slow, but a more difficult course could easily account for that.
