The 3A Boys race had nothing close to a well-defined leader at the base of Little Willis.

Shown below are the 3A Boys standings at one mile. On the next page are the race standings at two miles. In both cases, ties were resolved in favor of those who ultimately finished higher, thus slightly dampening the overall appearance of change through the race.

The results here show a couple of interesting things. Perhaps most interesting is how the Peak to Peak boys started strong, fell back a little in the middle, and then came roaring back in the last 1.1 miles for a third-place finish.
