Eaton may not have quite as many of the top-end athletes returning this year as in some previous years, but jumper Alexis Lamoreaux should be one they can count on to help keep the rest of the league at bay.
Eaton has been the dominant girls power in this league for a long, long time. Where other teams have pockets of strength, Eaton brings a team that is typically strong across all of the events areas. Some years are deeper than others, of course, for the Reds, but it's been a long time since anyone in 3A could take beating this team for granted.
Frontier Academy may represent a credible challenge, but indications from cross country season are that the full complement of distance runners the Wolverines had last spring may not be back in the fold this year. If so, that hurts Frontier Academy's chances severely.
