The Pomona Invitational has traditionally been an insanely competitive meet, and this year was no different. The meet drew six new No. 1 marks in all-classifications.
There were a lot of stellar performances, some with the help of the wind. Regardless, the times were fast, and here are a few highlights that shuffled the state-rankings.
Emily Sloan not only won the 100 hurdles in 13.56, but her 300 hurdles was an eye-opening 42.15. The is No. 3 in the country, and No. 2 in Colorado behind Anna Hall's 42.06.
Delaney Smith moved up in the state rankings at Pomona as well, finishing second behind Sloan in the 100 and the 300 hurdles. Smith's 14.69 in the 100 hurdles ranks No. 4 in all-classifications, while her 44.41 in the 300 is No. 5.
