Raymon Harper improved by four-inches this year.

The competition for the Leap of the Year was hot. While most improvements ranged three to four-inches, but there were two (within the top 100) that went nine-inches, or more.

Longmont's Jack Shew added a jaw-dropping 10-inches to his personal best this year. 10 inches... Two more inches and I'd be writing "a foot." That's simply unheard of.

Shew entered the 2018 season with a personal best of 5-4. By the end of the season he had blown that mark away. He capped his season with a 6-2 PR, tallying 10-inches of much-earned improvement.

A close, close runner up was Centauri's Bo Cormier, who jumped a clear nine-inches better than his 2017 best.

Cormier entered the 2018 season with a personal best of 5-4, just like Shew. By the end of the season he had gone over the coveted barrier of six-feet, clearing 6-1.
