Cole Sprout vs the bikes.
Now there's a challenge!
2018 was the year of Cole Sprout, and 2019 is likely to be much of the same. The defending state champ, and current State course record holder was flawless all season, and nearly on into the post season. There's no reason to think 2019 will be any different.
Sprout was undefeated in Colorado, and his only loss of the season came at NXN, where he finished third. And now with the information that his closest competitor, Easton Allred, is headed to Utah, Sprout looks all the more dominate.
If he'll have a shadow, it'll likely come from Dakota Ridge's Connor Ohlson, who put together an impressive season and post-season himself. Ohlson was the 2018 Colorado runner-up, and he did finish 10th at NXN. Any other year and he'd be the one dominating figure in Colorado everyone would talking about, but 2018 was simply insane. Rest assured, placing second to Sprout still means you're a national caliber athlete.
