The Southridge girls officially put Miami Northwestern on notice in the 4x100, grabbing the state's No. 1 lead with a big win on Saturday in 47.59 seconds.
Cardinal Gibbons was second in 47.81, while the Bulls, traditionally one of the sprint powers in Florida, were third in 47.88.
This could be a really good relay matchup to watch as the season unfolds.
