Five Bold Predictions For The Season Ahead

Minor Picks Up Her Third All-Time Colorado Record: The 100

Arria Minor already owns state records in the 200, and the 400.

At last year's state meet she went two-for-three, picking up the 200 state record, running 22.89, and the 400 state record a few hours later, running 51.91.

While she's undoubtedly the greatest female sprinter in Colorado history, she's got one more record to take down before ascending to the top of the throne to put on The Triple Crown, and that's the 100.

Long before Minor was born Carly Smith went 11.31 - in 1987. Minor nearly had the time at Mullen last year, as the future Georgia Bulldog went 11.38.

She's been under 11.54 eight times, which means that it's only a matter of - time - before she adds the 100 to her already impressive resume of state records.

I predict Minor goes major this spring and runs 11.27 to take down the 100 state record before riding off into a Georgia sunset, or sunrise.
