Wheat Ridge's Tiya Chamberlin ran away the win in the 1,600.
Lyons or Longmont, competitors weren't deterred by which L-Town they were competing in, that much was evident from the first event of the day - the girl's elite 3,200.
The Classical Academy duo of Katie Flaherty and 3A state cross country champ Kaylee Thompson went to work on a solid field. Thompson chopped another 10 seconds off her personal best to claim the win in 11:21 while Flaherty was the runner-up in 11:30.
In the sprints Denver West's Nya Henderson had a big day on the track. Henderson won the 100 with the lone Sub-13 clocking, running 12.76.
The 100 hurdles was a battle between TCA's Shenna Daum and Kaitlin James with Daum claiming the W in 16.31. James was a close, close second in 16.36.
Moving on up the name on top of the board was Abby Glynn. The Mead senior swept the 200, 400, and 300 hurdles with dominating wins. There was no keeping up with Glynn, as she ran away with a 26.78 win in the 200, a 57.33 win the 400, and a 45.71 win in the 300 hurdles.
As dominating as Glynn was in the distance-sprints, Monarch was in the 800.
Leading the charge was Julia Mainland, who won the event in 2:23.58. Chloe Smith and Arianna Le completed the sweep for Monarch, finishing second and third in 2:24.75, and 2:28.53.
In the 1,600 Wheat Ridge's Tiya Chamberlin was the runaway victor. Sadie Haymond set a hot early pace, but there was no stopping the Wheat Ridge senior. Chamberlin telescoped away for an 11-second win, running 5:20 to Wexler's 5:31.
Heading to the field Makenna Turner was the big winner in the long jump. The Peak to Peak junior went 15-11 for a seven-inch victory over Henderson, while Daum was the victor in triple jump, with a leap of 34-3.5.
One of the best high jumpers in the state starred in Longmont, and came away with a meet record. Riley Masten topped all-comers with a 5-5 victory.
In the throws Margaret Goldsberry made it a Silver Creek sweep of the shot put with a 33-5.5 victory in the event, though the discus was a much closer battle, as Kylen Christiansen and Nakiya Gomez were separated by a mere four inches. Christiansen won the event 98-4 to Gomez's 98-0.
In the pole vault Logan Kuskie was the lone 10+ foot pole vaulter, clearing 10-2 for the win.
