Week 2 Coaches Poll


The story of Week 2 was previously unranked squads storming the rankings. It looks like most teams waited a week or two before hitting the course, and while some squads finally hit the course this week, sending ripples through the rankings, some squads sat back a little and let the chaos ensue behind them.

BOYS | GIRLS

At First Glance: Mountain Vista was a unanimous No. 1 for both boys and girls once again week. 

The story of the 5A is on the girl's side of the poll, where Arapahoe made the Leap Of The Week, going from unranked to No. 4 this week, moving nearly every squad back one. Additionally, Cherry Creek's big win at the Arapahoe Warrior Invite propelled them over Cherokee Trail.

BOYS | GIRLS

At First Glance: Cheyenne Mountain remained a unanimous No. 1 for the second consecutive week, despite holding out Erik Le Roux at the Battle Mountain Husky Invite. Likewise, Niwot continued to hold 4A in their grip on the girl's side.

On the boy's side of the poll Summit was the big mover this week, while Centaurus was the mover on the girl's side.

BOYS | GIRLS

At First Glance: A tale of two polls...

On the boy's side of the poll The Classical Academy sits alone on top of the poll, but not by much. Salida and SkyView are nipping at their heels this week. The big story coming is coming from Colorado Academy, who went from unranked to No. 6. 

On the girl's side of the poll there was a ton of movement... The story here is previously unranked squads blitzing their way into the Top 10. TCA shares the top of the poll with D'Evelyn this week, and behind them was a big shakeup. The biggest move coming from Faith Christian, who went from unranked to No. 3.

BOYS | GIRLS

At First Glance: Lyons remains on top of both podiums this week as unanimous No. 1s. 

On the girl's side of the poll the story is Peyton and Rye making a massive leap into the rankings, while on the boy's side Rocky Ford and Front Range Christian were the big movers.
