Week 5 Coaches Poll

With all the action over the weekend, it's sort of ironic that it revealed one main thing: what we've seen in previous weeks is pretty accurate, so far. There was some major stalling across the board, as most results solidified previous rankings. 

Perhaps with Desert Twilight and Pat Patten, among the two bigger meets of this weekend, will reveal more..?

BOYS | GIRLS

At First Glance: Stalling out...

Mountain Vista remained on top of an otherwise stalled poll. Dave Sanders and St. Vrain seemed to solidify the rankings a bit, as there was minimal movement across the board. 

Of the newcomers, ThunderRidge was the jumped into the girl's side of the poll at No. 10.

BOYS | GIRLS

At First Glance: Repeat: Stalling out...

Cheyenne Mountain remained on top of the boy's poll for the five consecutive week, though Niwot inched a little closer this week. Of the movers, Battle Mountain jumped two spots to the No. 6.

On the girl's side of the poll Niwot solidified their spot on top with an impressive performance at St. Vrain. Behind them saw very little movement, though Palmer Ridge and Air Academy did make a swap this week.

At First Glance: The perk of sitting out, sort of...

The University boys remained on top, while The Classical Academy successfully jumped two spots to No. 2 despite sitting out their varsity this past week.

The Classical Academy girl's squad was a firm No.1 again, while Aspen and D'Evelyn made a swap this week, and Faith Christian charged to the No. 4 spot.

At First Glance: Keeping with the trend...

As per the trend, the No. 1s from previous weeks remained, with Lyons holding the reigns on both sides of the poll. 

On the boy's side of the poll we saw Front Range Christian surge into the rankings, while last week's Top 8 remained on the girl's side.
