Senior Girls, And How They Ran As Freshmen

Discovery Canyon's Emma Baron dropped over three minutes from her freshmen year to her senior year.

Over 60 seniors toed the line at Penrose at the 2016 Colorado State Cross Country Championships, and the 2019 Colorado State Cross Country Championships. 

Katya Schwieterman takes the honors of Most Improved from that 2016 state meet to the 2019 state meet. Her 3:37 drop is the only leap bigger than Emma Baron's 3:14. 

Schwieterman and Baron were the only two with improvements of over three minutes, which is an incredible feat. 

Among those who competed at State as freshmen and as seniors, Joslin Blair was the fastest in 2019, with an 18:27 finish.
