What was your most memorable race/throw/jump/vault/moment?
When I jumped 5'6" freshmen year at state and got 2nd.
Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?
Anyone from Grandview, haha
What was your greatest accomplishment?
Placing 2nd at state freshmen year and jumping 5'8 junior year
If you could do it all over again what would you change about your career in high school?
I wouldn't put so much pressure on myself. These are 4 years of my life that I won't get back, or be able to experience again.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Injuries. Every year, no matter how healthy I felt early on in the season, I always had some sort of nagging injury by the time state rolled around.
What will you miss the most?
My high jump coach
What advice would you give to younger athletes?
It's never too early to completely dedicate yourself to something you want to achieve
What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?
He has helped me so much with planning my training throughout the seasons, so I peak at the right times. And most of all, he has helped me put everything in perspective and tells me to enjoy every moment.
What are your college plans?
I will be running at the University of Nebraska
Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?
My parents. They drove me to almost every practice and they encouraged me that every hardship is necessary for what I want to achieve
