Palmer Ridge's Lucas Bossinger was the fifth-fastest sophomore from the 2021 Colorado State Cross Country Championships with a 16:36 clocking.

Two state champions sit in the top-two spots of this list. 

Matthew Edwards was the fastest sophomore from the 2021 Colorado State Cross Country Championships, with his 15:34 3A state title, while 5A state champ Tanner Brown was the second-fastest among the class of 2024 with a 15:44 clocking.

The two were over 45-seconds ahead of the rest of the class.

While in two different races, Caden SchweerPorter Middaugh, and Lucas Bossinger would've come in a tight pack. Schweer ran 16:31 to finish fifth in the 3A race, while Middaugh and Bossinger ran 16:35 and 16:36 to finish 23rd and 24th in the 4A race.
