Congrats to the Cheyenne Mountain 4x800 squad! Their state-leading, US No. 4 of 7:47.51 performance from the Thomas Jefferson Twilight tallied 5,168 votes, for 54%.
The past week brought a few new big performers to the spotlight...
There was Devyn Lauer-Duarte two state-leading performances at Pomona - a 10.57 in the 100, and a 21.55 in the 200. There was Jackson Shorten's solo CO No. 1 9:12.62 3,200 from Pomona. There was Caleb Johnson's CO No. 2 45-7 triple jump victory from the Boulder County Track Championships. And there was Antoni Smith's 6-9 high jump from Pomona, which was a CO No. 2, a 4A No. 1, and a meet record.
