In this week's edition of Colorado Future Stars we'll take a look at recent performances by sophomores!
Colorado, meet Bradie Menegatti!
The Pueblo West sophomore has gradually been raising the bar in the high jump this season.
Menegatti recently cleared 5-4 to win the high jump at the Thunder-Storm Invitational. The mark is currently tied with Petra McGowan for No. 1 in the sophomore class, and No. 3 in Colorado across all classifications.
Add that it was a one-inch PR for Menegatti, who has been incredibly consistent this season -- she's cleared five-feet on every outing, and hovered between 5-0 and 5-4.
A year ago she opened her high school career with a 4-11 clearance, then went on to finish third at the Colorado State Track and Field Championships, clearing 5-3.
And the high jump isn't the only event she's on the rise in.
Among sophomores, Menegatti currently leads the class in the 300H with a time of 47.97, she's third in the 100H with a 16.02, and she's No. 5 in the long jump with a mark of 16-9.
