Colorado Future Stars: Sasha Kennedy

In this week's edition of Colorado Future Stars we'll be looking at recent freshmen performances. 

Colorado, meet Sasha Kennedy!

The Grandview freshman recently torched her personal best in the 100 Hurdles at the Stutler Twilight with a 15.36 to win Heat 4 (of 5), placing her fifth overall. 

She's raced the 110H just four times this season, opening with a 17.44. She's made massive leaps each time she's toed the line, going from 16.48, to 16.41, to her recent 15.36 clocking. 

The performance leads the freshmen class, and ranks her No. 9 in 5A

She also won the 300H at Stutler in 46.59 (No. 2 in the freshmen class.)

Roxy Unruh - Prairie High - She ran a Freshmen Class No. 1 of 12.55 in the 100 at the Haxtun Relays! That's also a 1A No. 1.

Terra Brubaker - Longmont - She won the 300H at the Longmont Invitational in a class-leading 46.42. 

Olivia Clarke - Castle View - She finished second in the 400 at the Liberty Bell Track and Field Invitational in a class-leading 59.15. 

Madisyn Honeycutt - George Washington - She finished third in the 200 at the Liberty Bell Track and Field Invitational in a class-leading 25.67.

Jordan Banta - Air Academy - She finished ninth in the 800 at the Liberty Bell Track and Field Invitational in a class-leading 2:16.99.

Rocco Culpepper - Niwot - He finished sixth in the 1,600 at the Stutler Twilight in a class-leading 4:21.21.

Cadel Ruthven - Fort Collins - He finished sixth in the 3,200 at the Stutler Twilight in class-leading 9:39.34. 

Aiden Le Roux - Cheyenne Mountain - He finished 13th in the 3,200 at the Liberty Bell Track and Field Invitational in 9:40.32.
