Over the last four years the 4A state title has gone to either Niwot, or Cheyenne Mountain - two for each squad in fact.
But on paper it looks like 2023 could be Coronrado's year.
They finished sixth at last year's state championships, but they return the fastest squad for 2023.
Coronado returns three - Boston Potts, Parker Davidson, and Briley Roth - who broke 16-minutes, and six who broke 17-minutes last year. They own a 1-5 average of 16:04, and a split of 56-seconds.
Add that Coronado returns six of their top-seven from last year's state squad - and - the fact that Xzavier Campos has a massive track season.
Beyond Coronado it's the status quo - two squads that are highly likely to simply reload this year, and out-run their "On Paper" numbers.
