In this week's edition of Colorado Future Stars we'll be taking a look at recent standout freshmen performances.
Colorado, meet Quinn Sullivan!
The Niwot freshman recently finished sixth in the 1,600 at the Niwot Invitational in 4:18.65.
The week prior he won the 800 at the Broomfield Shootout, running 1:57.62.
Back to that 4:18 clocking...
Not only does that lead the Colorado freshmen class by four-seconds, it's the third-fastest time by a freshmen across the country.
And that's without any altitude conversions...
Sullivan is currently No. 1 in the freshmen class in the 800 and the 1,600.
Last fall he finished 26th at the 4A Colorado State Cross Country Championships, and ran a personal best of 15:17 at the Desert Twilight XC Invite.
