We had two showcase meets, VA Showcase and New York International Showcase, between our two most recent MileSplit 50 updates, and showcase talent they did. It's created a huge changeup in the latest COROS MileSplit50 Girls Individual Indoor Track and Field Rankings. These rankings provide an exclusive look at the nation's top athletes, highlighting those already making an impact this season.
We see a mix of returning household names, and future stars collide. Many we knew from last year, and others are breaking out for the very first time. The sprints are getting their time to shine, as they had to wait the entire XC Season before they could debut their talents. But the distance runners are ramping up again, with New Balance and Millrose on the horizon. We expect plenty more shakeups by the time the next rankings roll around.
Stay tuned as we continue to dive into the MileSplit50 rankings and celebrate the incredible talent in girl's indoor track and field.
Below, you can find the individual rankings.

A Closer Look at the COROS MS50 Rankings
Sadie Engelhardt (CA) - M50 #1
Sadie is opening her season this weekend in the Pro Mile at the New Balance Grand Prix. As a New Balance NIL athlete, she'll see many of her professional counterparts starting their season in the same weekend. Sadie, who has forgone competing for her HS Team for the remainder of her HS career, went 4:34.45 at this same Invite last year.
Elin Latta (TX) & Malina Santee (NY) - M50 #12 / M50 #25
Two freshmen are making a splash into the rankings this week. Elin Latta opened her season with a US #1 in the mile, running 4:43.92 in Chicago. She is part of a running family, homeschooled, who could very well have qualified for NXN using only their family members as a team. Malina Santee is another freshman who is no stranger to running, as she's been part of the club scene for most of her life. She ran 2:48.34 for the 1000m, the fastest time ever run by a freshman not named Katelyn Tuohy. She sits as US #2 for the event.
Lisa Raye (RI) and Dana Wilson (NC) - M50 #2 / M50 #4
The two top short sprinters are exchanging the rankings, as Raye finds herself atop the 55m and the 60m, while Wilson has an edge of .03 in the 200m. Still, the pair are set for another showdown, after glancing efforts at the VA Showcase. There, Raye won the 55m, and then came back the following week with an improvement in the 55m en route to the US #1 in the 60m.
