On the boys' side, there is definitely plenty of improvement to go around, including big improvements on marks that are already impressive.
First, we have Kieran Meier of Fairview High School, who tops our list with an improvement of 2-7. Meier started pole vault as a freshman and achieved a mark of 9-0. However, he has already jumped up to 11-7, and there is still a couple months left of the season! Moving along with the list, there are a couple big improvements on some marks that were already impressive from the past year. Both Taylor Waters of Cherokee Trail and Quinn Pascual of Discovery Canyon improved by a foot this year. Waters improved from 15-7 to 16-7 so far this season! Pascaul went from 15-0 to 16-0! Both marks are incredibly impressive, and it definitely gets us excited to see how much higher these two can fly.
