The top of the list is dominated by multiple people improving their 400m times by over 4 seconds! The best of the list is Grahm Wheeler of Mountain Vista High School, improving from 56.00 from last year and dropping his time to 51.38 so far. He has also dropped his time by over two seconds throughout this season, showing potential for even more big jumps for this sophomore.
This list is also filled with many middle distance athletes, who may find their top events more in the 800m or the 1600m, but still have the speed to throw down a fast 400m. Both Bobby Kiesewetter
of Golden View and Jake Morrison of Lewis-Palmer High School have improved their 400m times by 3.96 and 3.74 seconds respectively. For Kiesewetter, he definitely finds himself ranked decently in Class 2A in his non-dominant event, with his new improved time of 51.93. Morrison is also ranked well in Class 4A with his time of 50.25, which puts him at #8.
