Colorado Future Stars: Reagan Falletta (April 21-26)

Though this sophomore has already won a state title, Reagan Falletta of Pueblo East High School is very deserving of being called a future star because of her potential growth. Furthermore, Falletta is showing off her range and strength in many different events and not just the hurdles.

As mentioned above, Falletta does have a state title in the 100m hurdles that she won just as a freshman. Her time of 14.42 won her the title and is her current PR. So far this season, Falletta has run 14.50 and has the top time in Colorado for all sophomores in the event. Her time of 44.98 is also the top time for all sophomores in the state for the 300m hurdles as well.

Besides her strength in the hurdles, Falletta has some great speed in the flat races, with PRs of 12.34 for the 100m, 25.34 for the 200m, and 59.69 for the 400m. Clearly, Falletta has a lot of talent when it comes to this sport and whatever she chooses to line up for, hurdles or flat races, she will be leading the way, even if she is only a sophomore.
