The Haxtun sprinter boys stole the show in the 1A division. First, they went 1, 2, and 6 in the 100m, led by Ryland Wolff, who ran a time of 11.04 to earn the title. Then the team went on to shatter the 1A state meet  record in the 4x100m relay with a time of 43.37. Wolff also won the 200m individual title and the team won the 4x200m relay. They were a big part of Haxtun winning the team title.

On the distance side, Parker Arbuthnot of Springfield High School pulled off an impressive triple, winning the 800m, 1600m, and the 3200m. In all the races, Arbuthnot ran very strategically, running just enough to win the races and pulling away with a fast final kick.

In the jumps, Javin Summers of Swink High School did quite well in both the long jump and the triple jump. In the long jump he made it out to 21-.25, earning him the state title. In the triple jump, he jumped a mark of 45-0, which would have ranked him well in many of the other classifications.
