Though Golden View Classical Academy has a 20 point lead on Thomas Maclaren School, the gap may not be as large asa it seems, and the Highlanders will make an attempt at breaking Golden View's winning streak.
The strengths of Golden View has always been their spread. Even with Bobby Kiesewetter, the spread between their 2-4 has been spectacular and this season they may not have a true frontrunner for their squad, but they have a tight pack with a 42 second spread.
In terms of the talent, Huckleberry Hale definitely has experience on the team, where he has been a part of all of Golden View's winning seasons. He will be a great leader for this squad. Other positives for this team include Pieter Langedyk, who may be a senior this season, but only ran in his first ever cross country season last year.
