CO Boys Performer of the Week State Meet Edition

Ben Lee of ThunderRidge High School won last week's performer of the week, after winning the 5A Region 2 Championship in a time of 15:02!

Here are the nominees for this week after a thrilling state meet. Make sure to get your votes in by Thursday, November 6th at 11:59pm MT! 

Benjamin Adams, Mountain Vista High School: Adams won his first cross country individual title in a time of 15:03, which beat the 5A state meet record set a year ago. He also was only one second from the previous state meet record!

Ethan Kiptui, St. Mary's High School: In one of the more thrilling finishes, Kiptui won the 2A individual title, winning by only .01! He ran 16:20.07 to take his first ever cross country state title. 

Oliver Horton, Coronado High School: Horton ran the fastest ever on the state meet course en route to an individual title. He smashed the previous record by 14 seconds, running 14:48 to win the title and help Coronado to a team title! 

Max Miller, The Vanguard School: Also winning his first cross country title, Miller won the 3A race in a time of 15:55! He was able to defeat other competitors that beat him earlier in the season to win the race. 

Niwot High School's Boys Team: They are not the #1 ranked team in the nation for nothing! The team won the 5A state title again, putting five of their top guys in the top 10, with one of their fastest guys having an off day, showcasing their depth.
