Sydney Cochran, Fleming Middle School: Cochran is currently the top 6th grader in the 100m, hitting a time of 14.24! She also ran 30.22 in the 200m, long jumped 13-2, and triple jumped 28-2.75! She is ranked #3 in the 200m and #2 in long jump and triple jump for 6th graders.
Adleigh Shamburger, Roosevelt Middle School: Shamburger is the top 6th grader so far this season in the 200m, running a time of 28.62 for the event. She should show a lot of potential in the other sprint events as well later on in the season!
Faith Kenley, Monument Academy Middle School: Kenley ran the 400m this past weekend for the first time and ran a time of 1:08! She is the top 6th grader in the event and should also show a lot of potential later on in the season in the other sprint events.
Rylee Kleisen, McClave Middle School: Kleisen competed in both the 800m and the 100m this past weekend running times of 2:57 in the 800m and 14.53 in the 100m. She is the top ranked 6th grader in the 800m and ranked #6 in the 100m!
Lucille Baca, Ellicott Middle School: After a successful cross country season, Baca ran a strong time in the 1600m of 6:16! She is the top ranked 6th grader in the event and definitely has a lot of potential in the other distance events.
McKinzie Jones, Eads Middle School: Jones ran 19.33 in the 100m hurdles and long jumped a mark of 12-0 for her first meet of the season. Her 100m hurdles time is the top time for all 6th graders, and she is ranked #8 in the long jump!
Kate Howe, McClave Middle School: The top spot in the long jump for 6th graders goes to Howe, who jumped a mark of 13-5 over the weekend! She also ran 30.01 in the 200m, which places her #2 in the rankings for her class.
Brystol Robinson, Stratton Middle School: Robinson is ranked #1 in the triple jump with an impressive mark of 28-1! She improved upon her mark by about two feet from her first competition.
Maci Jackson, McClave Middle School: Jackson hit marks of 56-11 in the discus and threw the shot put 21-1.5 for her first competition of the season. Her discus mark is #1 for the class and her shot put is ranked #3!
Chloe Wilson, Platte Valley Middle School: Wilson competed in a handful of events this past weekend, including the 100m, the 200m hurdles, and the shot put. Her mark in the shot put of 22-0 even is #1 for all 6th graders!
