Ricky Wilding, Bookcliff Middle School: Wilding jumped 5-6 in the high jump, which is ranked #1 for 7th graders in the state of Colorado! He has also long jumped 16-10, placing him at #4 for the grade, placing him well in multiple jump events.
Cash Taylor, Dolores Middle School: Taylor is the top ranked long jumper for the class, getting out to 18-8! He has improved tremendously every time he has competed, starting out at 10-9 and within three meets, achieving 18-8! He has also high jumped 4-8 and competed in many running events.
Abdikadir Haji, Deer Trail Middle School: Haji has steadily improved throughout the season in the triple jump, with his current personal best sitting at 37-4! He is ranked #1 for the event for the class, and he has also run 12.76 in the 100m.
Kyesyn Livesay, Akron Junior High School: Livesay is currently #1 for 7th graders in the pole vault, getting over the bar at 9-0! He is also ranked well for all of middle school, sitting at #3 for all grades.
Jovan Martinez, Ortega Middle School: The top 7th grader for Colorado in the discus goes to Martinez who threw 116-2.75! On top of his impressive mark in the discus, he has also thrown the shot put 39-3, which is ranked #2 for the grade.
Isaac James, Corwin International Magnet: James is the top 7th grader in the shot put currently with a huge personal best of 39-7! From his first meet of the season to his second meet, James threw over 9 feet farther - improving by a massive amount! He has also thrown 81-8 in the discus.
Matthew Palic, Sedgwick County Junior High: Palic is currently ranked #2 in the discus for his grade, throwing the implement 108-0! He has also thrown the shot put 31-6.25, ranking him in the top 25 for all 7th graders in the state of Colorado.
Adriel Varela, Yuma Middle School: Only an inch behind the top ranked high jumper for the grade, Varela has high jumped 5-5 so far this season, putting him at #2! On top of his stellar high jump performance, he also has a PR in the 100m of 12.67.
Will Barnett, Eads Middle School: Though he has only competed in one official meet so far, Barnett hit a huge PR in the long jump, reaching 17-11 improving from 13-7 from last year! Barnett is ranked #2 in the event for all 7th graders in Colorado.
Leno de Herrera, Corwin International Magnet: The shot put rankings are looking very strong for the 7th grade and Herrera is ranked very well, sitting at #3 with a strong personal best throw of 38-8! He made a huge improvement from his first meet, throwing six feet farther!
