From the outset, I want to stress that this is an experimental feature here on Colorado Track XC. I have some idea how course difficulty, heat, and density altitude affect cross country performance, but a big part of this process is also a guess-and-check kind of affair.
At this point in time, I'm unwilling to try to accumulate an equalized times rankings through the entire season. With my limited understanding of the impacts of density altitude and course difficulty on times, it is easily enough to try to equalize times for one week. Equalizing times for one season is something I will not undertake until I've had ample opportunity to sharpen my skills here over the course of several weeks, probably over the course of this entire season.
