Brynn Torres is putting together a season to remember.
The Loveland standout has won four of her six races this fall and currently holds the fastest 5K mark in Colorado's Class 4A. Her personal best of 17:09.60 came at the Liberty Bell Invitational, where she claimed third overall against a deep field. Torres is quickly becoming one of the names to watch in 4A.

A Breakout Fall

Competing against a strong regional field, Torres finished seventh overall in 17:48, adding another notable result to her fall campaign. Between her Liberty Bell personal best and her performance at Desert Twilight, Torres has shown that she can compete near the front against a seasoned field.

A New Look At State
Last fall, Torres competed in Class 5A, where she finished 15th at the Colorado State Cross Country Championships. This year, Loveland has moved from Class 5A to Class 4A, bringing a slightly different championship landscape for both Torres and her Loveland teammates. With the current fastest 5K mark in 4A this season, Torres enters the postseason as one of the top contenders for the individual state title.
Last fall, the Loveland girls had a strong showing when they finished seventh in Class 5A at the state championships. Now competing in 4A, the team will face a different field as it looks to build on last year's performance with Torres leading the way.
