If you're in the business of insuring the girls state discus record, you had better start moving your funds into more liquid kind of accounts. Chances of a payout are looking pretty good at this point.
But Valarie Allman's discus mark was far from the only spectacular mark of the week. In fact, it's going to take us a fairly long time to track through them all. Get a pencil and paper out for taking notes and start reading.
Duplicate marks below indicate that the results from this meet show both prelims and finals results. I doubt any of the athletes in question threw exactly the same marks in finals as in prelims, but stranger things have happened.
