The 2A boys team race isn't yet holding a lot of people spellbound.
 
Any way you look at it, Lyons looks like the favorite. It kind of works out that way when you are a 2A school with guys like Forrest Donnell, Matt Radich, Ryan Boucher, Marcel Such, Marcos Rodriguez, and Justin Boldt on your roster. 
 
Figure on five to 20 state meet points in individual events for each of these young men, add in a heaping helping of relay points, and you won't find many teams in the state who have the horses to match up. In fact, you can close your fists and count those teams on your fingers.
 
What Lyons has to fear most is their own mental state heading into the state meet. It is, after all, still a state meet and you underestimate anybody at the state meet at your own peril.
