Colorado Track XC awarded the five Golden Baton Awards for the five classifications to the teams from each classification with the highest total of relay points scored in the 2012 state meet. This year, those trophies went to Loveland (5A), Thompson Valley (4A), The Classical Academy (3A), Lyons (2A), and Simla (1A). The top five teams in each classification were as follows:
