If you read the tea leaves, they're telling you it's likely we have a new champion in 1A track and field next spring. The Walsh Eagles have owned the classification in the two years it has been in existence, but two consecutive years of heavy losses to graduation have opened the doors to new blood in the title chase.

Not that Walsh is out of the picture, mind you, just that they won't go in as favorites next spring. That honor will move a couple of drainages to the north to Bethune. Alex Duarte, John Strobel, Justin Seamans, and Cole Koepke give the Bobcats a lot of answers to whatever questions other teams may be asking.
