Several Colorado athletes performed very well at the National Junior Olympic meet in Baltimore last week. Although I've been traveling for much of the last three days, I've been consistently looking through albums from the national meet for a suitable cover photo of an athlete that I have permission to use in that capacity. I regret to report I have come up empty in that search.
Each experience like this that I have reminds me anew of how privileged I am to work with Jeff McCoy, Paul Jaeger, and a few others here in Colorado. I am constantly impressed with the number of usable images I get to work with here in Colorado.
Before this news gets any older, I'm sending this article to the front page with a quick summary of what I hope is a complete list of Colorado athletes of high school age with top three places at the national JO meet. The list will fall in more or less chronological order:

If I have missed any, it was purely unintentional. Please let me know of any misses, and I will update the article.
As a general observation, this year's national JO meet appears to have been somewhat more competitive than last year's. Perhaps that is due to a location in a much more densely populated area than last year's meet. The list of national elite performances is not yet complete as several state webmasters have not yet reviewed and posted performances from their states. This is a very painful meet from which to post performances.
