There's more mystery in the 2A girls race than there has been since Kelley Robinson and Rebecca Hermann donned their freshman uniforms. Incidentally, that was also the first year of 2A. All that to say, we've never had a 2A girls race with as much intrigue as this one. The 2A boys race, however, has a strong early favorite in Lyons. Whether Lyons wins or not, they are a runaway freight train at the moment. For the moment, there appears to be only one team with an outside chance at upending the Lions. Lyons has soundly beaten all other contenders to this point.
