The meet will be held at the Yuma High School track. The Yuma High School Track is an eight-lane, all-weather track. The jumping events have all-weather surfaces and the throwing events have cement rings. Spikes must be 1/8 inch or less on the all-weather surfaces. Longer spikes may lead to disqualification.
Athletes are limited to four events.
No awards will be given for the LPAA division (YWKC will mail awards); team scores will be kept. LPAA will score 8 places (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1), YWKC will score 6 places (10-8-6-4-2-1).
Races will be run in heats against time and will not be separated by divisions except for scoring. Lane assignments will be seeded by submitted times, from fastest to slowest, lanes 4, 5, 6, 3, 2, 7, 8, 1 (Z pattern) as adopted by State Association for the State meet.
Field events will be seeded in flights, low to high with 7-10 athletes per flight and will not be separated by division except for scoring. 3 attempts; top nine and ties to finals (3 additional attempts).
The 2012 Track and Field rulebook published by the NFSHSA will be the resource for rules interpretations.

Field event competitors must get to their field events and complete their attempts in their designated heat. Competitors should not leave a field event until 3rd call. Field event workers will limit time from the event to 10-15 minutes (depending on the event). This is extremely critical in the HJ and PV. The athlete may be forced to pass to the next height if they do not return in the allotted time. Athletes will not be allowed to compete after the scheduled time if no effort was made to compete during the scheduled time. (For example, continues to leave for other events and does not attempt to get a jump or throw between their running events or fails to check back in after completing another event.)
