Meet Information
General Information
Course: The course will be 4 kilometers and will start and finish in the stadium. The
course will wind its way around the Family Funplex, Frontier Academy, and
University Schools. It is generally flat and consists of grass, rough, asphalt,
and concrete.
Parking: Bus parking will be located in the Middle School Parking Lot (1717 65 th
Ave). University's main parking lot will be reserved for spectators.
Camps/Warm-
up:
Team camps will be allowed on the grassy area on the South side of the
middle school NO EXCEPTIONS. No footballs, frisbees, etc. will be
allowed in the team camp area because football will be practicing in the
area.
Concessions: A concession stand will be located under the press box.
Schools: Brush, Eaton, Estes Park, Frontier Academy, Ft. Lupton, Highland, Liberty
Common, Milliken, Platte Valley, Salida del Sol, Turner, University, Valley,
Weld Central
Scoring: The meet will be scored with 5 scoring and 7 displacing.
Awards: Awards will be given to the top 10 individuals per grade and gender. Ribbons
will be awarded to the top 10 overall finishers. A traveling banner will be
awarded to the championship team per gender.
Entries: Entries will be submitted via Milesplit and are due by 12:00pm on October 2,
2017. Please note that if you have to set up an account on Milesplit it will
take a few days to process. Please enter any kids that you think might run.
We will be using chip timing through Runlimited out of Ft. Collins.
Coaches
Meeting:
We will have a coaches meeting at 3:30 at the finish line.
Entry Fee: No fee for NPLMA teams, $50 for non-league schools.
