Online Registration Instructions

Hello and welcome to the registration page for the Soroco School Night Invite!

This is our 3rd annual invitational, and we're looking forward to hosting again this Tuesday, September 24th.

Meet information is as follows.

Location: Rossi Meadow, Oak Creek, CO - Google Maps Link

Race Schedule (schedule is approximate and based on final finishers in each race):
- 3:00 Middle School Boys
- 3:30 Middle School Girls
- 4:00 High School Boys
- 4:30 High School Girls
- 5:00 Open/Collegiate/Pro 5k

Scoring:

Top 3 runners count toward team score. Plaque/trophy awarded to winning team in each division. Top 3 individuals in each division receive medals; places 4-10 receive ribbons. Middle school awards will follow middle school races, and high school awards will follow high school races.  Pro/Collegiate race does not calculate a team score, but top 3 males and top 3 females will receive medals/prizes.

Directions/Parking:
The Rossi Meadow is located at the top of Bell Avenue in Oak Creek, CO. Turn off from Main Street/CO 131 (right turn coming from the north, and left turn coming from the south) at the Oak Creek Post Office and take Bell Avenue all the way to the end of the road. https://goo.gl/maps/fCQdZEQjDp62

Parking inside fenced meadow area is for school buses only; spectators may park outside the gate and along the road just next to the meadow. Please note that this is a residential neighborhood: be aware of driveways/walkways and keep them clear. Please also pay attention to signage delineating off-limits areas; the course is set on a hay field owned by a local family who is graciously allowing us to use it, so we need to keep our activities within the posted boundaries.
Course Description:
This scenic course offers some of the best views South Routt County has to offer. The high school 5K course is one large loop spanning the perimeter of the meadow, and the 2mi middle school course follows much of the 5k route, but diverts back toward the start 1.1 miles sooner (shortly after the 1-mile mark). There is some slight elevation gain for all runners. Terrain is mowed hay with several (dry) ditch-crossings, so footing is soft, but uneven in parts. This race is very spectator-friendly, with large portions of the course visible from viewing areas.
Fees:
- $100 for both boys' and girls' teams (MS or HS)
- $60 for single gender team (MS or HS)
- $10 per individual
- $0 entry for college or professional athletes

Please make checks payable to "Soroco Athletics" and either bring them with you on race day, or mail them to:
