Welcome to the 2021 Huskie Invitational hosted by Douglas County High School. This will be a one day, state qualifying meet.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
The rules governing the meet are those of the National Federation of the State High School Association and The Colorado High School Activities Association. There will be no finals for running events, place will be determined on time. Please do not fudge entry distances. 3/16 spikes only at Echo Park Stadium.
STATE QUALIFYING MEET:
This meet is a qualifier for the state track meet and all rules and regulations pertaining to such a meet will be followed (uniforms, jewelry, etc.). You will be allowed three (3) entries per event. Only one relay team per school please.
COACHES MEETING:
There will be a coaches meeting at 8:30 next to the garage by the flag pole. No ADDS will be ALLOWED. Scratches only. This will be strictly enforced.
SCORING:10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (8 Places)
AWARDS:Plaques1s place Boys and Girls
Ribbons 1st- 5th place
ENTRY FEES:$300 per school. District school please make a transfer through your bookkeeper. Out of district schools will need to pay using check.
ENTRIES DUE:No later than THURSDAY, JUNE 3rd at 12pm( MST).
NO ENTRIESWILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS TIME!
Entries will be submitted through the normal statewide process (milesplit).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
No athletes or coaches will be allowed on the infield during the meet unless they are competing or warming up for the next event in the warm up area.
Athletes are to report to the check in area at the first call prior to the event by the starting points on the infield.
Coaches can pick up ribbons in the press box at the completion of the meet.
Tents may only be set up on the top row of bleachers, first come first serve.
Concessions will be available.
A trainer will be available for treatment of injuries.

Starting heights:
Pole Vault - 90 boys (1, then 6 inches), 70 girls (6 inches)
High Jump - 56 boys, 46 girls
Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump:
Each competitor will receive 3 attempts, and finals will directly follow the last flight. Depending on number of entries we will determine minimum marks for these events. Every athletes last attempt will be measured.

Coaches food will be served in one of the garages by the flagpole.
