To All MS/JH Track Coaches & Athletic Directors:

Monte Vista Middle School will host the Tony Perea Track meet on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 with the coaches meeting beginning at 8:30 AM.  Please direct bus drivers to park at the High School/West parking lot.  Meet will run straight through with no breaks.

LONG JUMP & TRIPLE JUMP: there will NOT be an open pit, please make sure your athletes check in. 

SHOT PUT/DISCUS: 3 throws; Please bring your own shot put and disc. 

LONG/TRIPLE JUMP: 3 jump attempts; NO finals!

HIGH JUMP:  Starting height:  Girls: 40, Boys: 44

SPIKES: should be no longer than 3/16.

ENTRY FEE:  $150 per school/$10 per athlete.  Please make checks payable to:

***Please mail or deliver the check at the meet.

AWARDS: t-shirts for the first place finisher of each event; one shirt per person if they win more than one event.

Blocks will be provided for each sprint race.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES:

***Camps on the infield will not be permitted. No one is permitted on the field unless staging or competing. Designated camp areas will be on the baseball field, NOT the bleachers as they will be used for spectators ONLY!

***There is a possibility of a concession stand, but only packaged items.  There will be NO hospitality room.

***MASKS required when moving from one place to another, both by athletes and spectators.

There will be a gate charge $5.00/all spectators; service dogs ONLY will be allowed! 

4 entries per event to be entered; Only two relay teams can score per event, per school.

We will be using MileSplit for entries . Please have all your Entries in by deadline there will be NO additions or substitutes that morning.  Please register on MileSplit by Thursday, May 6th by 5:00pm.  Coaches can verify their entries on Saturday morning and adjust anything that is needed.  For milesplit information or help please contact Chris Vance at chrisv@monte.k12.co.us
