2021 Liberty Common Eagle Invite
Date/Time: Tuesday, May 18th, 2021
Coaches/Scratch Meeting 3:30 pm
Meet Start Time: 4:00 pm
Teams Attending: Weld Central, Eaton, Highland, Valley, Liberty Common
Facilities: The track is a five lane all weather surface, 360m track. I have attached pictures of each running event and the zones for each. The discus and shot ring are concrete. Starting blocks will be provided; all other equipment will be supplied by the competing schools. Locker rooms are not available, there is one potpourri available for public use.
Camps/Warm-up: Team camps will be set up next to the gymnasium or in the open field outside of the track.
Entries: Each team may have six individual, and two relay entries per event. Running events will be run as finals in heats against time. Field events will be open pit and each athlete will receive three attempts. Entries will need to be submitted via co.milesplit.com by 6:00p.m. on Monday, May 17th. Please note that you have to set up an account with co.milesplit.com and this process takes up to 72 hours to process. Rules: The National Federation Track and Field rules and the NPMLA bylaws for 2019 will be the official rules of the meet. Only 1/8 inch spikes will be allowed.
Scoring: Five places will be scored; 8-6-4-2-1 in all track, and field events will score four places for relays; 8-6-4-2 (only A relays will count in team scoring).
Coaches Meeting: There will be a coaches meeting at 3:30 pm at the finish line on the track. Scratches can be made at this time. No additions or substitutions will be allowed. This will ensure we are able to start the meet on time.
Starting Heights: Girls High Jump 38 Boys and girls will jump together.

Bus Parking: I will coordinate with the elementary principle and let you know where to park when they are here.
Concessions: We will NOT have concessions.
Spectators: There will be clear signs where spectators will be able to watch from, please stay outside of designated flag areas.
