Arrupe Jesuit Open Meet Information

Course Location:

Located at the Standley Lake Basketball Barn,9709 Alkire Street 80005

96th and Alkire, North of Standley Lake, Site of last years Jeffco District meet.

Course features

  • This course has wide open views of the foothills and mountains and is run entirely on a farm.The course is a 1-mile loop that kids will repeat 3 times.The running surface will be all grass, dirt and or gravel path.There are a few small hills and a location where, if we get rain, can collect water creating a water crossing. Racing shoes/spikes are highly recommended if athletes have them.

  • The terrain is uneven, and there are minor obstacles in places (tree limbs, roots, culverts, etc, all of which will be marked).

  • Water jugs will be available to fill personal water bottles should athletes wish, otherwise please bring your own water.

  • Parking for Team busses/vans ONLY is available by the basketball barn, you must be parked there before the National Anthem and wont be able to leave until after the final runner is finished the girls race, as we have to block that road for the race.

  • There are 2 Port-o-potties on site.

$50 per team ($100 for boys + girls) 

Race times:

September 11th, 2021

7:30 am -- Parking/Course opens

8:00 am -- Coaches Meeting

8:45 am -- National Anthem & Prayer

9:00 am -- Boys Race

9:30 am -- Girls Race

Race Rules:

  • Runners should be in Milesplit by 3pm on Friday, September 10th

  • This is designed as an early season friendly race, low maintenance & no frills.

  • Enter as many runners as you wish, score top 5 

  • Spectators may watch from anywhere on the course/roads around the property, but please keep fans and kids from up around the houses.

  • The course will be hand timed, runners will receive a place card in the shoot & turn that in with their name before heading back to camp.

  • Coaches should keep back up times for all runners. Any disputed time will revert to the main timers log.
