Packet
Pick up:
Packets will be available on race day starting @ 7:00 am. We will be using hip
numbers instead of bibs with the timing system we will be using.
Site: Riparian Park, Alamosa, CO
Entry Fee: $100 per MS team (boys and
girls), $50 just a girls' team or just a boys' team; $10 per individual under 5
athletes.
Directions: Turn onto Craft drive at
McDonalds. Follow this all the way down past the front of the high school until
it turns into Riverwood Drive. Take your first left at Lakewood Drive at the
pond. Athletes will be dropped off on the right side of the road at the parking
area. Team camp area will be here.
Busses will have to park at the high school parking
lot on the south side, farthest away from the stadium.
Parents: Please park on the streets
of the neighborhoods, not in the parking area. This area needs to be kept clear
for athletes and event officials.
The Course: The course will be run all
on the trail system shown on the map. The athletes will run the "Brown Loop"
twice. This is a dirt course with some slight rolling hills.
Awards: Top two teams receive a plaque;
top 10 individual athletes receive a medal.
Guidelines for each race:
- Lead bike - 50 yards in front of
athletes - Sweeper - 70 yards behind last runner
- There will be concessions with food and
drinks. Please bring cash.
