Vaulting the Peak #1

Welcome to the very first Vaulting the Peak Invitational.This CHSAA sanctioned qualifying pole vault only invitational will be held on Wednesday April 27th, 2022 at Woodland Park High School.The fee is $20 per athlete.

Please submit your registration to:

  • Invoice will be created and sent once all athletes are registered.

  • Register on milesplit once it has been created and opened up.
  • Registration will end after 42 total athletes are entered (emailed to Coach Grier).

REGISTRATION AND ENTRIES :

Email coach Grier ASAP with your entrants (first 42 athletes registered) and then register on milesplit.

No later than April 26, 2022, 5PM Mountain Time submitted at Colorado milesplit.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

The rules governing the meet are those of the National Federation of the State High School Association, The Colorado High School Activities Association, The Teller County Health Department, Colorado Governor's Expert Emergency Epidemic Response Committee.

STATE PRE-QUALIFYING MEET:

The Vaulting the Peak Invitational is a CHSAA sanctioned State Pre-Qualifying meet. Certified Officials and scales will be used to comply with CHSAA.

DATE OF MEET:Wednesday April 27th, 2022 (2PM)

SITE:  Woodland Park High School, 151 Panther Way, Woodland Park, CO

BUS DROP OFF: Drop off team on 151 Panther Way, in front on high school, track is behind the school. Busses will be directed where to park when they arrive.

COST: $20 per athlete

SCORING:No team scoring will be kept

AWARDS:T-Shirts for event winners.

COACHESMEETING: There will be a coaches' meeting @ 2PM near the pit.

WEIGH-INS/CHECK-INS: Near the pit @2PM

SpikeSize: 3/16-inch spikes will be allowed

TEAM CAMPS: In the grass west of the pit

RESTRICTED AND COMPETITIVE AREAS: Coaches, Not Parents, are allowed on the infield pending CHSAA guidelines.Coaches are restricted to the areas outside the flags (near the pit).

Athletes shall be considered to be in a competitive area when they step onto the track, and whenever they are in the infield of the track.

Warm-up area for the athletes will be on the field.Please remember that there will be NO ELECTRONICS, FOOD, DRINK, GUM OR SEEDS allowed on the field.Please keep these items in the team camps.

TRAINER: We will have a full training room facility located inside the high school.Please use this facility as needed.Our trainer will be available.

MISCELLANEOUS: Restrooms are located on outside of high school building facing the track. Concessions will be available. T-shirts for this event will be available for purchase.
