Schedule of Events:

Registration/Walking the Course- 4pm (please do not walk course prior to 4pm, due to golfers golfing)

Girls Varsity 5K- 4:40pm

Boys Varsity 5K-5:20pm

Course: This year's course will be run on Rifle Creek Golf Course front 9 with

the entire course run on grass or gravel/pavement cart paths. The course is

gentle rolling terrain, no significant climbs.

Directions to Course: From South: Take Highway 13 north through Rifle (you

will leave town) until you reach Highway 325 (signs pointing to Rifle Creek Golf

Course and Rifle Gap Park). The turn has a bowling alley on the corner. Follow

325 for approximately 3 miles. Golf course parking will be on the right.

From the North: Take Highway 13 to approximately mile marker 4 (before you

enter the town), Then, turn left onto Highway 325 (signs to Rifle Creek Golf

Course and Rifle Gap). The turn has a bowling alley on the corner. Following

325 for approximately 3 miles. Golf course parking will be on the right.

Scoring/Awards:

Runners 1-3 will be awarded a medal, runners 4-15 will be awarded a ribbon. Teams are allowed 15 entries into varsity races, top 5 members score.

Top 2 teams in each gender receive plaques.  Awards will be shipped at a later date.  

Entries:

Due to spacing issues, we need to limit the number of teams and runners going

forward. The maximum number of teams allowed is 20, so please register early

on MileSplit. Also, each team is allowed a maximum of 15 runners per race.

Fee:

$150 per school
