End of Season Middle School XC Invite
Barone Middle School (Meeker) is excited to host the end-of-season middle school XC meet. Please see the information below to answer most general questions about the race. Please email Barone Middle School AD Kris Casey (kris.casey@meeker.k12.co.us) if you have further questions, as well as if you would like to attend the End of Season Meet on October 1st.
Date: Saturday, October 1, 2022
Time:10:00 AM Middle School Boys Race
Girls race 10 minutes after the last boy finishes
Awards after the girls race.
Site: Barone Middle School practice field, behind the building. **Please park in the middle school parking lot**
Course: Athletes will run a 2 mile course consisting of some pavement, trail, and grass. Course map is linked below.
Scoring: The top 4 athletes from each team will be used for scoring, run unlimited. In an event of a tie, the winning team will be the team with the highest placing 5th runner.
Awards: Top 5 individuals for each division will receive an award.
Entry Fee:
$30 per Middle School team
$5 per individual
Entries: All entries will be done on the Colorado Mile Split website.
Concessions: We will have our local "Sugar Shack" at our meet for concessions. Spectators and runners will be able to purchase fresh squeezed lemonade, ice tea, and ice cream.
