The Merino Junior High Invitational track meet will be held April

27th starting at 9:00 AM. We will have a coaches/scratch meeting at 8:30

AM in the performance room.Scratches

and substitutions
may be made at this time.ADDITIONS AND UPDATES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

III.           ENTRIES

1.     Not

more than (6) participants from the same school may be entered or started in

any event.

2.     Entries

close on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 @ 12:00 PM.

3.     We

have the online entries on Mile Split.Please include full names (last, first), school, and times/marks of each

participant in order of performance.

4.     Seeding

will be based upon submitted times/distances.If there are any last minute scratches; that will be completed at

coach's meeting the day of meet.

 

IV.           SCORING

1.     Six places will be counted in all events to determine

the winning teams in each division.First, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth place will be awarded 10,

8, 6, 4, 2, 1 points respectively.

 

V.             AWARDS

1.     Trophies-1st Place Boys & Girls Teams in

both 7th & 8th grade divisions.

 

VI.           MISC.

1.     There will be a hospitality room for coaches,

administrators, bus drivers, and workers in the performance room.We are looking forward to a great invitational
