DPS PREP LEAGUE CITY CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

Start Location: Pumphouse Field

Finish Line: All City Stadium Track

Start Times:

4:00 pm-  Coaches Meeting just north of the South turf field

4:15 pm-  Girls A (7 runners per school)

4:20 pm-  Boys A (7 runners per school)

4:35 pm-  Girls Open

4:40 pm-  Boys Open

5:00 pm-  Awards Begin (approximately)

5:45 pm-  All MS XC participants, staff, and spectators should exit the Stadium

Other events on the evening of Friday, October 6:

6:30pm-  Football (C team) - Denver South vs Gateway on the Denver South Turf

7:00pm-  Football (Varsity) - Thomas Jefferson vs Far Northeast Warriors on the All City Stadium Turf

Parking (Note: Denver South HS Dismissal at 3:35pm):

Please avoid parking at Denver South High School as school dismissal will take place at 3:35pm.  Please arrive and park at All City Stadium on the west side (1500 South Franklin Street) or east side (1499 Race Street).

Coaches & teams are encouraged to utilize the east parking lot as we will be handing out bibs to coaches at that entrance and team tents will be behind or to the north of the east bleachers in All City.

Spectators:

The course will be limited to staff and participating students. Fans can view the race at the start area, along the fence of the South track, and inside All City stadium in the bleachers. We highly encourage all spectators go directly to All City Stadium for spectating of this event. This will limit the congestion on the South HS campus for our MS XC athletes and staff and for any South HS activities. 

Spectators will only be allowed in the bleacher seating of All-City Stadium; the field/track will only be open to staff and participating students. Spectators and families will get some amazing pictures of their student(s) as they finish the race inside of the stadium. 

Concessions and bathrooms will be open at All City Stadium.
